Thymus serpyllum

Breckland thyme: A low, usually prostrate subshrub growing to 2 cm tall with creeping stems up to 10 cm long, with oval evergreen leaves. The strongly scented purple flowers bloom from May to September. It prefers full sun and is native to the UK and attracts moths, butterflies, bees and flies.
